We are seeking a HR Advisor for our Bodmin site in Cornwall that employs professional, managerial, administrative, semi-skilled and unskilled personnel. Reporting to the site HR Business Partner and working as part of a team within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will provide comprehensive and professional HR generalist support including; attendance management and employee relations (ER), investigations / disciplinaries / grievances, recruitment and associated administration.
Whilst predominantly overseeing the attendance and ER case management on Site, employee engagement and local community initiatives will form a key part of our organisational culture and inclusion of these initiatives, as well as all other areas of HR focus including retention and health & wellbeing activity will also form part of the role.
Our preferred candidate will be part or newly CIPD qualified or equivalent and have at least 2 years' experience in a generalist role, ideally in a manufacturing or fast paced organisation. Excellent administrative/organisation skills are essential along with an ability to communicate confidently at all levels. Ideally a good working knowledge of employment law and the flexibility to adapt working hours when required to cover the varying shift patterns that cover our 5 day a week working environment. In addition, strong proficiency in excel, word, outlook and power point skills are a must and our ideal candidate will have experience using Resource Link, Crown Open Options and Quor although training can be provided.
